Meet national and state candidates and legislators!
24 weekend workshops on Healthcare, Media, Club Finances, Coalition Building and more!
On-site registration opens 1 p.m. Friday.  Early workshops and committees begin at 2 p.m.
Convention will adjourn between noon and 12:30 Sunday.
Board of Directors/Exec. Cmte. meeting will follow convention from c. 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Speakers at meals and more than 20 hour long workshops on Friday and Saturday afternoons.  Each delegate will have the opportunity to attend several workshops so clubs should send as many delegates as they can.  Remember, if your club is affiliated, you receive one delegate for every 10 members whose names are on the affiliation papers.
  • Workshops include:  Using the Internet Effectively; How to recruit a Treasurer; Building Club Membership; Turning The Tide - Red to Blue; Voter Registration as an Organizing Tool; Women in Politics; Messaging: Framing the Debate; Social Networking for Building Clubs; and more...
  • Saturday afternoon: CDC officer elections and CDC business meeting/plenary session

Who can attend? All Democrats are invited to participate.
Who can vote? As per our constitution, every club president (or their representative) and every central committee chair is allowed one vote.  If your club officially affiliates with CDC, it receives one additional vote for every 10 members submitted.  Click here to affiliate: Affiliation form
How much does the Convention cost? The Complete weekend package includes five meals (with outstanding speakers), all workshops and three-day registration: $210;  Workshops and business sessions only: $35
