Affiliation Requirements

To affiliate with the California Democratic Council, you must be an officially recognized Democratic County Committee or a Chartered Democratic Club. The following additional basic requirements must also be met:

• Annual Dues of at least $5.00
• At least 20 dues-paying members, all of whom must be registered Democrats
• Acceptable bylaws (see Sample By-laws) that:
• Allow your club to endorse only Democratic Candidates for office
• Prohibit voting by non-Democrats
• Agreement to abide by the CDC Constitution and Bylaws and support the CDC Platform
• Participation in CDC Events and Activities
