To affiliate with the California Democratic Council, you must be an officially recognized Democratic County Committee or a Chartered Democratic Club.

Although there is no fee to affiliate with CDC, the following additional basic requirements must also be met:

• At least 20 members, all of whom must be registered Democrats
  
  
• Acceptable bylaws (see our sample bylaws) that:
  
  
  • Allow your club to endorse only Democratic Candidates for office
    
    
  • Prohibit voting by non-Democrats
    
    
• Agreement to abide by the CDC Constitution and Bylaws and support the CDC Platform
  
  
• Participation in CDC Events and Activities
