Our Commitment To Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on all of our pages.

The Information We Collect

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the California Democratic Council website. On several pages we collect personal information that allows you to donate to or join the CDC. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

Address
Email address
Phone number
Credit card Information
Information regarding affiliations and employment
Certain other information regquired by the federal and California governments

The Way We Use Information

We use the information you provide about yourself to process your donations and contact you with upcoming events and activities.  We never share the information with anyone else. We use return email addresses to answer the e-mail we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties. 

Our Commitment To Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, all information you direct to us is sent to us in highly secured form. We do not store the information we collect online in an electronic database accessible by outside parties.  We receive the information in the form of a secured e-mail and use a printed copy to contact you. If you choose not to work with us, we erase your e-mail.

How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information

Because we do not store your information in a publicly accessible database, we do not provide online access to correct your information. Rather, if any of your information is incorrect, we will personally contact you to verify the information. So, if you have made a mistake, do not worry. We will fix it.
