Help take Back Red California Resolution

WHEREAS the California Democratic Party is on record as wanting to help rural and “red” areas of California win elections;
 
WHEREAS the California Democratic Party maintains voter lists and specializes in producing mass mailings at low cost;
 
WHEREAS rural and “red” areas of California have fewer resources than urban blue regions;
 
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the California Democratic Council, meeting in convention in Santa Clara, March 24-26, 2006, request the California Democratic Party ensure a minimum of one mailing to all Democratic voters in state Assembly Districts and Senate Districts in which a Democrat is challenging a Republican incumbent.

THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the El Cerrito Democratic Club send this resolution to the Democratic State Central Committee Resolutions Committee, California Democratic Party Chair Art Torres and Bob Mulholland.
